Sun

Dear Family and Friends,
A beautiful day here in Carthage.  Tulips are barely showing a tiny slit of green, sun is shining, and it’s happy.  I’m not sure winter is gone, but we’ll enjoy today.

We’ve had some wonderful tours lately.  In one week, we’ve had visitors from Brazil, Finland, Ukraine, and Korea.  I wish I could speak all of those languages.  They each had interpreters with them, thank goodness.  The spirit carries through in every language.  You know God loves all his children, no matter where they live or what language they speak.
Last Saturday, we had a tour of 2 missionaries from Iowa.  It was a great tour, and as it ended we thought the one Elder looked very familiar.  He was Elder Miller from Nevada.  He was Austin McGiven’s companion last spring.  We had taken him and Austin to lunch in Quincey.  He leaves to go home this week, so it was so wonderful to see him again. What a special experience to visit with him and see the growth he has made. I know these young men and women work hard, and you can see the purification that takes place.
We are gaining a stronger testimony of Joseph with each tour.  The Church is true and the Book of Mormon is for our day and daily guidance.  We know the Savior directs this church through President Nelson.
President Russell M. Nelson

This email is going to be short because I can’t think of anything else to add.  We do love being here and appreciate you support and prayers.
Have a great week and be happy.  You are loved and blessed.
